Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, booking our services, or entering into a service agreement with Reliable Cargo Movers, you acknowledge that:

• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms
• You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• All information you provide is accurate and truthful
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Services Provided

Our Services Include:

• Residential Moving: Household goods relocation services
• Commercial Moving: Office and business relocation
• Packing Services: Professional packing and unpacking
• Loading & Unloading: Safe handling of goods
• Storage Solutions: Temporary and long-term storage
• Interstate Moving: Pan-India transportation
• Vehicle Transportation: Car and bike shifting

Service Scope

The specific services to be provided will be outlined in your service agreement or quotation. We reserve the right to:

• Refuse service if we determine it is unsafe or impractical
• Modify service delivery based on circumstances beyond our control
• Subcontract services to qualified third parties when necessary

Booking & Payment Terms

Quotations & Estimates

• All quotations are estimates based on information provided by the customer
• Final charges may vary based on actual weight, volume, and services required
• Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
• Additional services or circumstances may result in additional charges

Booking Confirmation

• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of advance payment
• A written service agreement will be provided upon booking
• Changes to booking must be made at least 48 hours in advance
• We reserve the right to cancel bookings with full refund if unable to fulfill service

Payment Terms

Late Payment

If final payment is not made as agreed:

• We may hold goods until payment is received
• Storage charges may apply for held goods
• Late payment fees may be assessed

Customer Responsibilities

You Agree To:

• Provide Accurate Information: Complete and truthful details about items to be moved
• Prepare Items: Disconnect appliances, empty drawers, and prepare items as instructed
• Declare Valuables: Inform us of high-value items (jewelry, documents, cash, etc.)
• Obtain Permissions: Secure necessary permissions for building access, parking, etc.
• Be Present: Be available at pickup and delivery locations or designate an authorized representative
• Inspect Goods: Inspect goods upon delivery and report any damage immediately
• Clear Access: Ensure clear access to both pickup and delivery locations

Prohibited Items

We do NOT transport the following items:

Packing Responsibilities

• If you pack items yourself, we are not liable for damage to those items
• Professionally packed items are covered as per our liability terms
• Fragile items must be declared and professionally packed for coverage

Liability & Insurance

Our Liability

Reliable Cargo Movers will exercise reasonable care in handling your goods. However, our liability is limited as follows:

Exclusions from Liability

We are not liable for damage or loss resulting from:

• Acts of God (natural disasters, floods, earthquakes)
• Inherent nature of goods (items that naturally deteriorate)
• Improper packing by customer
• Mechanical or electrical derangement unless visibly damaged
• Items not listed in the inventory
• Normal wear and tear
• War, strikes, riots, or civil commotion
• Delays beyond our reasonable control

Claims Process

• All damage must be noted on delivery receipt
• Written claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery
• Claims must include photos and detailed description of damage
• We will investigate and respond within 30 days
• Settlement will be based on repair cost or depreciated value

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Customer Cancellation

Rescheduling

• First rescheduling is free if done 48 hours in advance
• Subsequent rescheduling may incur charges
• Multiple rescheduling may result in cancellation

Cancellation by Reliable Cargo Movers

We may cancel service if:

• Customer provides false or misleading information
• Unsafe conditions exist at pickup or delivery location
• Prohibited items are discovered
• Payment is not made as agreed
• Circumstances beyond our control make service impossible

In such cases, full refund of advance payment will be provided.

Delivery Timeframes

We strive to deliver goods within the estimated timeframe. However:

• Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees
• Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, regulatory issues, etc.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses due to delays
• Customers will be notified of significant delays
• Storage charges may apply for delays caused by customer unavailability

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Mediation

If informal resolution fails, disputes may be referred to mediation by a mutually agreed mediator.

Arbitration

Any disputes not resolved through mediation shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reliable Cargo Movers, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms
• Misrepresentation of facts
• Damage to property caused by your goods
• Violation of any laws or regulations
• Transportation of prohibited items

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability shall not exceed the actual charges paid for the service
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for lost profits, business interruption, or data loss
• Claims must be filed within 180 days of delivery

Data Protection

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to:

• Collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy
• Recording of phone calls for quality and training purposes
• Use of your feedback and testimonials (with your permission)

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

For services already booked, the Terms in effect at the time of booking shall apply.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with your service agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reliable Cargo Movers. Any verbal agreements or representations not included in writing are not binding.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
